The WASZP is the most talked about new dinghy in many years. It has been designed and built by Andrew McDougall, designer and manufacturer of the world-famous Mach 2 foiling moth.
Andrew’s concept was to bring an affordable, modern, durable, easy to learn one design race class, that brings a new definition of fun. There will be a choice of rigs to provide options for 40 to 100 Kilo sailors. This truly is a platform for beginners to advanced racers.
Iain Calder, says, “Having sailed the boat for the first time without having foiled before, I was surprised how quickly I got up on the foils. The foiling sensation was incredible. I can’t wait to get to grips with my own WASZP and start to have class racing here in the UK”
