Sailingfast Sponsors Grass-roots Sailing

Sailingfast are delighted to announce a couple of sponsorship agreements with the Laser 4.7 fleet as well as the Scottish Optimist and Topper traveller circuits for the following year.

Sailingfast owner, Duncan Hepplewhite, comments, “We have always been proud to support junior and youth sailors as they progress through the classes. It’s great to have a couple of agreements set up so a wider number of sailors can benefit.”

Prize equality

We are providing 4.7 prizes at each of the ladder events, and series prizes for the Scottish Toppers and Optimists. In a change to the running order this year, we are proud to be offering equal prizes for boys and girls in the Laser 4.7 class. The 4.7 ladder event dates can be found on the UKLA website under the calendar page.

Mobile shop on location

The Sailingfast mobile shop will be on hand at the various events across the country. In it, a collection of essential spares to keep you on the water in case of breakages. Including, top and bottom sections, booms, sails and various nuts, bolts and thingamy-bobs!
